Kimberly Baird Eastman

Are you married or dating someone? Married in October 2009 to Adam Paul Eastman.

How did you meet this person? We met 4 years ago. I was living in SLC after graduating from BYU-I and one weekend my friend and I went to a cabin in Island Park and I met Adam in the grocery store there. He ended up moving to SLC and we dated, but then broke up and I moved to California and he moved to Alaska. Then in March of 2009, I decided to move back to Idaho and I didn't know it, but he was living in Rexburg again randomly. We got back together and just got married in October. We have a storybook love and I am so glad it turned out the way it did!

Do you have any children? Yes How many? No, but hopefully soon because we aren't getting any younger!

Where do you live now? Happy Rexburg for at least another 6 months.

Where do you do for a living? Adam works with developmentally challenged people as a counselor/therapist, and I am attending Paul Mitchell Cosmetology school and will graduate in July. Then we might move to either Chicago or Ecuador. Who knows....

What are some things you've done since High School? Oh boy, where do I begin? I served a mission to Asuncion, Paraguay and then graduated from BYU-Idaho with my BS in Health Education and a minor in Spanish Education. I did my student teaching at Ririe High School (very cool, weird experience! It was funny sitting in the teacher's lounge with Charlie Barber and all our other teachers.) Then I had a bunch of random jobs and moved around a lot, and finally settled in SLC for 4 years and worked for the LDS Church as a human resource assistant in the CES department hiring seminary teachers around the world. I began my own photography business 3 years ago and do weddings and portrait photography on the side. And now I am uncovering my secret passion for hair at cosmetology school.

Different places you've been in the last 10 years? Let's see....first I went to Europe (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France, England) in 2000 on a study abroad tour. I lived in Paraguay as a missionary. I visited Ecuador for 3 weeks as a humanitarian pre-dental student. I went to Bulgaria for 2 weeks for a friend's wedding. And I've been to Mexico, Canada, and the Carribean a bunch of times. (It's what you do when you are single until you're 29!)
